Situating the case study

This case study comes from the program “Graphic and Digital Media” at Arteveldehogeschool (Higher education). In the first year the students receive the course ‘Audio & Video’. Unlike the title, this is often a theoretical course in which students learn the basic principles of audio and video without making one yourself. The theoretical introduction makes it difficult for students to navigate through the content, the success rates before were therefore also low because the content for students seemed to abstract.
